MTX Jackhammer 22″ Subwoofer T9922-2 T9922-4
MTX Jackhammer car subwoofer reviews. The MTX Jackhammer is my favorite car audio subwoofer of all time, even though i have never had it in my own car. This is an enormous dual voice coil subwoofer and it come with enormous bass. The 22″ MTX Jackhammer come in two different models, T9922 – 44 is 4Ω and T9922 – 22 is 2Ω, but other than that they are the same. This is the perfect sub for some one who is looking to put some seriously loud bass in there ride and you will have that great MTX audio look to go with the sound.
One thing that a lot of people don’t realize about the Jackhammer is that it is built for SQ as well as SPL. This sub has a replaceable cone assembly that always the listener to choose between SPL and SQ. The only problem with this subwoofer is that you are going to need a equally as impressive amplifiers to power this 22″ driver.
The other thing you have to plan for when adding this monster of a subwoofer to you car stereo system is mounting it, this sub is 23″ tall 22″ wide and is 369 lbs. And with the power it comes with, it is going to take a lot to keep it in its place.
