Kicker SX1250.1 Amplifier Review
Kicker car amplifier reviews. Well i guess it is time to start looking at some serious class D subwoofer amps. The Kicker SX1250.1 is a excellent subwoofer amp. there are a lot of different factor to look at when choosing a subwoofer amp. One thing that I think is very imprtant when choosing a amplifier is what ohm is the amp stable at. when buying a subwoofer amp I would never buy any thing that is not at least 1 ohm stable or lower. This shows that it is a high qulity amp. Now back to the reason that i am review this amplifier. My friend Scott has 2 Kicker 06S15L5-2, and really wanted them to slam hard.
You may want to keep in mind that Scott is a huge Kicker fan and so we went to look at some kicker amplifiers to push his amplifiers. I recommended the Kicker SX1250.1 if you have 2 dual voice coil subwoofers and a one ohm stable amp it is very easy to wire them to be at a 1 ohm load so that you can push them hard. Well after running all the wires for the Kicker SX1250.1 and setting up the amplifier it was time to take the civic for a test drive. With the two 15′s in a ported box and the Kicker SX1250.1 pushing them they slammed extremely hard. Now whats most important is that Scott was very happy with the bass that he was getting out of the subs. if you are looking for a subwoofer amplifier in the 1250 watts range i would highly recommend the Kicker SX1250.1.
