Kicker car subwoofer reviews. I am currently putting together my next SPL competition car and I have selected the Kicker L5 15″ to use as subwoofers. I have been a large fan of Kicker Solo-Barics for a long time and its come time to use them again. They have a great new look with the new cover plate that also happens to add some protection for the subwoofer as well. Here are some of the reasons that i have chosen this sub. Power handling of 750 watts RMS.
The 15″ L5 also has a great frequency response of 18-100kHz. Also the subwoofer does not need a lot of air space if used in a sealed box. My plan is to use 6 Kicker L5 15″ subs and between all 6 i will only need to have at least 9 cubic feel of air space. Not bad at all for 6 15’s. This will give me the ability to have some real serious bass and they are not that expensive. I have found them around the internet for as cheap as 190.00 a piece. Now i know not every one is going to put 6 of these in there car or truck, but if you are look to add some nice bass to your car audio system and don’t have a lot of money or air space I would recommend you to give a good look at the Kicker 06S15L5.
