The Kenwood KFC-P709PS is a component speaker system from Kenwood’s performance series and I can see why. I am starting to become and bigger and bigger fan of this series. If you know how to install or you are paying someone I do recommend component speakers over 2 and 3 way speakers. They produce a better sound in my opinion. This 6.5 car stereo speaker comes with a injected polypropylene cone and has a really nice diamond patter as well. The KFC-P709PS has what Kenwood calls a advanced crossover network, which is important for the separately mounted dome tweeter. You do not want mid range sound coming out of the tweeter, you will blow them. The tweeter is a 1 inch tweeter that does swivel for best angle for sound after placement. The KFC-P709PS has a 80 watt RMS rating and a 280 watt peak rating. MSRP $129.99. I really like this car speaker and I would recommend it. Let me know what you think of it.

Kenwood car speaker reviews. My friend Jeff came to me over the week end asking for help this weekend hooking up his new Kenwood KFC-P707 components. This was my first time ever hearing a pair of Kenwood components so i was very interested to see how they sounded. Using his Alpine PDX-4.150 to power them they sounded great. I was very impressed by there sound. MSRP for a pair was 220.00 and he got them from cardomain for only 99.99 so the price was great. Just a couple of things to keep in mind if you are looking to get a pair of these.

This component set comes with a 7″ woofer, but there is a 6 1/2 adapter included with them. The KFC-P707 have a great sensitivity of 92 dB. the only thing that was negative about the speakers was the claim of a frequency response of 30-35,000 Hz, but the speakers don’t seem to be able to reproduce that sound, but the fact that he only paid 200.00 for 2 sets of them was great. So if you are looking for a good sounding pair of component speakers and are on a budget, you should look at the Kenwood KFC-P707 component speakers.
