    • ]]>     I have dome many different SPL competitions and seen a lot of people not using this CD or another as good as it, so i decided to right this post. There is nothing worse than watching a competitor not win a competition he should have won because he did not use the best CD for his or her car audio system.

    Bass Mekanik’s Sonic Overload has a lot of good track to use for SPL competition. The ever popular sine wave seems to be used by most people in SPL competition. This track play a wave 20khz to 20hz drop. If you are not very serious about competing this is probably the best way to go. If you are serious about competing the best thing to do is get a decibel meter and use the later tracks on the Bass Mekanik CD that have a 10hz drop. This way you can find the best frequency for your system.
